Fully equipped and extremely comfy hotel, we appreciated this place.
We had the most very nice few days there. Fair value, room was newly renovated, staff were caring! Booked a room with the king bed. The attached restaurant for breakfast was the best part.

Was upgraded (after many issues in several rooms) to what was really a 5 star room. The original one was a 4 at best. Pool was nice. There is a Metro about 2 blocks away.
The location was fine since there was a Metro 2 blocks away, but as it is in the Financial District many places are closed on the weekends. There were plenty of places to eat though. It is also in a bit of a red light district so there are 'saunas' with 'hot girls' around (2 within 2 blocks that I saw). It wasnt an issue for me but I would like to have known ahead of time. There were issues with 4 rooms before I finally was able to get settled and moving that many times stinks (even into an upgraded room). Internet is free but you need a cable and they charge 7 euros for that.

The rooms were large and the breakfast was fabulous but expensive at 25euro each. There are two metro stations within a five minute walk. There are good local non touristy restaurants and wine bars nearby....

Very happy with room, particuarly free room upgrade and late checkout. Room was huge, very comfortable beds, great shower etc - everything you would expect from a 5 star hotel.
We were disappointed with the price of the "extras" such as mini bar, laundry, on demand movies and room service. If the hotel charged more reasonable prices, we would have been happy to take advantage of these services, but we cannot justify 14 euros for a ham sandwhich or 6 euros for a can of coke. And the fact that the hotel does not offer free wi-fi is outrageous. We have travelled extensively through europe and this was the only hotel without free wi-fi. Inexcusable for a 5 star hotel to charge for wi-fi.
